You’ll Always Know the Cost of Service Before We Begin

It is very difficult to predict when a plumbing problem will occur and it catches us often by surprise. This can leave many of us unprepared and worried of the financial burden that comes with the repair. This is why we at Behrens Plumbing always provide upfront pricing, so you will know the cost before we begin.  Because two jobs are never the same it is important for us to be on the scene to assess the situation and give you an accurate price.

How are your prices determined?

Through years of experience we have measured the average time what it takes to do the task and compiled this information together with the material cost into a guide. To determine the final quote, first we have to arrive at your property and assess the tasks that need to be completed. We then add all the tasks up and present a price to you. This way we can identify which task we don’t need and help you save money where we can.

Why don’t you charge by the hour?

We believe charging by the hour is unfair to our customers. We can’t always control the speed we are working or if we have to go and get another part, make extra trips etc. Also, we wouldn’t be able to give you an exact price until the work is done.

How much does a water heater replacement cost?

Unfortunately, we can’t answer this. There are many factors which are going into the price, like location, any upgrades, extra venting or altering the gas line etc. To determine the exact price of a replacement we would have to come out and assess the job, and present you then with an upfront price.

Do you charge dispatch fees?

Yes, this helps to ensure to keep our trucks running. This price is included in the end price after we determined what work needs to be done.

Do you offer free bids?

Yes, for larger projects like Water heater replacements bathroom renos or Whole house repiping, we offer free estimates and come out and take a look at your project at no charge.

Do you charge dispatch fees?

Weekends we usually only dispatch technicians for absolute emergencies, but if we do the dispatch charges will stay the same as during the week.

Is there an extra cost if I live far away?

If you live within 30km of Aberdeen our dispatch fee is $49. For 30 km - 80 km( that includes Saskatoon and area) our dispatch fee is $79. If you live more than 80 km away of Aberdeen we charge a $129 dispatch fee.

Do you have any discounts available?

Yes,  we have several discounts available ranging from 5%-15%.

What are my payment options?

Payment is due upon completion of the job. On bigger jobs, (over $2,000) we do require a deposit. Usually ranging from 20%-50%. We accept cash, checks, e-transfer and all major credit cards.
